Komilfo Rubber Base Coat HEMA/TPO free is a clear rubber base for gel polish with very strong adhesion and a levelling effect. The 30 ml format is designed for salons with a steady flow of clients and noticeably lowers the cost per service. It is supplied in a jar and is worked with a separate brush.

How to apply Komilfo Rubber Base Coat HEMA/TPO free

Start with standard nail preparation: take off the previous coating, treat the cuticle, lightly buff the nail plate and file the shape. Then disinfect and degrease the nail.
For clients with problem nails, use Komilfo Ultrabond — an acid-free bonder — before the base.
Use the rubber base as a thin classic coat, or place a drop in the centre and let it self-level to form the apex. Cure — 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
Optionally remove the dispersion layer before applying colour for stronger adhesion.
Apply your chosen gel polish in two thin coats, curing each one: 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
Seal with Komilfo top coat — 90 seconds LED or maximum UV time — and finish with cuticle oil.
